Metalwülf!

Brendan Smith, one of the creators/writers of this pilot posted this link on Facebook the other day.  Metalwülf was a show the studio I was working for had done for Mtv back in the day (2003 maybe?) and one in which I handled a lot of design on.  It's hard to look at some of the art direction and character design I was in charge of, as well as the Flash animation cheats and all, but overall, it was a fun and rewarding project that could have been cool had it been given a shot.

Dreams And Nightmares

From The Line It Is Drawn, Week 257:
In honor of Wes Craven, who passed away this week, mash-up comic book characters with Wes Craven films. Here is a Wes Craven filmography if you’ve somehow never seen a movie and do not know who Wes Craven is.
Twitter follower, ErichMees and dhacker615 suggested Morpheus/Freddy.  Rest in peace, Wes Craven.

Have a Super Labor Day

From The Line It Is Drawn, Week 256:
In honor of next week’s Labor Day weekend, superheroes have to go to work! Imagine all the crime has been fought. So come up with new jobs for superheroes using their powers in new and interesting ways.
Twitter follower, RBPropst, suggested: Superman as a welder of the high steel on construction sites.  It seemed like a fun idea and I went with it.

Back To School!

It's that time of year again when we have to wear shoes and go to bed at a decent hour.  Sigh.

Best of luck to the boys as they get thrown back into the fray.  We had an excellent summer together.
